In this 1-day participatory workshop, comprised of lectures, discussion and exercises, presenters from Elevate Scientific (with previous experience at Nature, Nature Geoscience, Nature Physics, IGBP, and Macmillan Science Communications) will introduce the media, its culture and its role in linking science and society and impart practical techniques for forging effective news stories and press releases.
